KONTAN.CO.ID - JAKARTA. PT DMS Propertindo Tbk (KOTA) berencana mengembangkan proyek strategis di kawasan Samarinda. Perusahaan ini akan membangun rumah tapak dan area komersil bernama Accola Garden Samarinda. Proyek Accola Garden sendiri didesain untuk menciptakan kawasan hunian yang mampu mengakomodasi gaya hidup modern masyarakat urban.
KOTA memilih Samarinda sebagai lokasi proyek karena berdekatan dengan ibu kota baru. Pasalnya, pemerintah telah menetapkan lokasi ibu kota baru Indonesia di Penajem Paser Utara dan sebagian di Kutai Kartanegara di Kalimantan Timur.
Berdasarkan data BPS, pertumbuhan ekonomi Samarinda yang merupakan Ibu Kota Provinsi Kalimantan Timur terus meningkat didukung oleh aktivitas industri perdagangan dan pengolahan sumber daya alam yang merupakan penggerak utama. Walaupun sempat melemah akibat sektor batubara, semenjak tahun 2017 sudah mulai bergerak positif 3,54%.
Samarinda juga telah terhubung dengan Balikpapan lewat infrastruktur tol sepanjang 99,35 kilometer (km). Hal ini semakin memudahkan akses lokasi sekitar ke Samarinda.
Menanggapi ini, analis OSO Sekuritas Sukarno Alatas mengatakan Samarinda akan menjadi kota strategis terutama jika pemindahan ibu kota baru terlaksana.
“Secara tidak langsung ada potensi yang bisa berdampak positif,” Kata Sukano.
